Scotty the T-Rex for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum

We managed the creation of a new space for Scotty, the largest Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered. Delivered the project through an extremely strict schedule, with the project lasting for 7 months from design to construction. 

The project involved the use of our custom collaborative approach that blends the construction management and progressive design-build delivery models. This led us to win the prestigious Project Management Institute’s 2019 Project of the Year Award. For this project, we combined our custom approach with the maximization of just-in-time decision-making to crash the schedule by six months. 

Saskatchewan Polytechnic New Saskatoon Campus

A new post-secondary campus with services spanning across the planning and subsequent phases. The first sequence includes a Design-Build for a new facility, followed by a Construction Management at Risk package for the renovations package.

Minahik Waskahigan High School Replacement

Overseeing the replacement of a remote, grades 7-12 high school replacement in Pinehouse, SK. The replacement is 33,368 sqft in size and includes an integrated 32-seat childcare facility. The existing school is to be demolished upon completion of the new build. The school primarily serves the Indigenous population, including Cree, Dene, and Métis students, as well as French and English students. 

Holmwood Joint-Use High School

A new construction of over 430,000 sqft within the Holmwood area of Saskatoon, SK, representing the largest education project in the province. 
In collaboration with Group2 Architecture + Interior Design, we previously completed the school's test-fit study.

Campbell Collegiate Vocational Wing Modernization

A rebuild of Campbell Collegiate’s vocational wing and the renovation of an existing, adjacent facility within an operational environment. 
The vocational wing needs to be demolished. ~1,800 sqm of the wing will be rebuilt with an additional ~1,000 sqm of renovations to the facility adjacent to the vocational wing.  

Greenall High School Modernization and Expansion

A renovation, expansion, and modernization involving the replacement of systems nearing or at their end of life and the reconfiguration of spaces to align with 21st-century learning.

Conseil des École Fransaskoises Schools
Saskatoon & Prince Albert | Design-Bid-Build | In progress
The design, development, and execution of two new schools in Saskatchewan. The Saskatoon school will accommodate Pre-K-6 students (5,031 sqm) with 80 childcare spaces, the Prince Albert school Pre-K-12 students (4,863 sqm) with 51 childcare spaces, and each with 2 preschool programs.

South Corman Park K-12 School

Brighton Joint-Use Elementary School

Overseeing the development of a new K-8 joint-use elementary school ~22,000 sqm in size, with 2,050 students and a 90-seat childcare centre.

The design, development, and execution of a new joint-use elementary school in Saskatoon. The project is being delivered on behalf of two school divisions and two ministries.

North Regina Joint-Use School

Prince Albert Victoria Hospital Renewal and Expansion

A major expansion aimed at enhancing healthcare services in northern Saskatchewan, including a new multi-story acute care tower to increase capacity, with expanded emergency, surgical, maternity, and pediatric services. It will also feature the region’s first MRI, a rooftop heliport, and a dedicated First Nations and Métis cultural space.

Urgent Care Centre Regina

The first of kind in Saskatchewan, patients in Regina requiring same-day treatment for minor illness and injuries can be treated at the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) rather than the emergency room. The UCC also offers mental health and addictions support.

We were engaged to provide project management services during the construction phase. We led the team through construction, commissioning and oversight of the furniture and equipment delivery and installation.  

Regina Transit Garage Electrification

Regina Police Services Headquarters

This project involved the phased implementation of a campus solution for the Regina Police Services (RPS) headquarters building. It included the construction of a new link building to connect two existing buildings, forming one unified and cohesive facility (Phase 1). 
In addition to the new construction, the project  encompassed extensive renovations to the two existing buildings, along with all associated site and civil work required to support the campus development (Phase 2).

This project required us to balance public accessibility with stringent security needs, resulting in an efficient and secure environment for all RPS operations. Key security features included interview room surveillance equipment, evidence storage, a prisoner release area and protocol, sound/privacy protection, ballistics paneling, and elevator and door security throughout the facility to control access. Additional features included a dedicated area for records checks, public access to computer stations, and a media scrum area for press releases and training.
